Brian May is a seasoned executive with more than two decades of experience in corporate finance, M&A advisory, strategic growth, and operational leadership. As Senior Vice President at LaGrey, Brian leads M&A transactions across industries and geographies, mentors team members, and plays a critical role in shaping deal strategy and strengthening LaGrey’s national footprint. He is known for his hands-on approach, strategic insight, and ability to build deep client relationships that drive long-term value.

Before joining LaGrey, Brian served as Director of Finance and Operations at EHTC, a Michigan-based CPA and advisory firm, where he oversaw all internal functions including finance, HR, IT, and administration. Prior to that, he held executive leadership roles in both emerging companies and public enterprises. Notably, he played a key role in scaling Founders Brewing Company and securing a strategic liquidity partner during a period of international expansion.

Brian’s M&A experience spans deal sizes from $1.1 million to $1.2 billion and includes work with iconic brands like Wolverine Worldwide, Abercrombie & Fitch, Tolman’s Meats, and Rivers Edge Landscape Management. His ability to navigate complex transactions and unlock strategic value has made him a trusted advisor to leadership teams and business owners alike.

Outside of his professional work, Brian is an active community member, serving on the boards of Envoy B2B and Tolman’s Meats. He also coaches youth football and basketball and has served as treasurer for USA Boxing, the national governing body for Olympic-style boxing in the U.S.
